The Food
SecretBurger is a boutique event where restaurant guests can order a specialty (one day only!) menu item.
On Monday, November 18, we’ll be offering a delectable special at Hearthstone: the PLT!
This is a creation from Hearthstone’s own Chef Lee Davidson. Here’s the description of this culinary masterpiece:
“2019 is the year of the pig and this burger sure celebrates it!
Pork and bacon patty topped with crispy pork cracklings; complemented by fresh mozzarella, blistered tomatoes, broccoli rabe pesto aioli – all the goodness between a focaccia bun.”
Under the skilled hand of Chef Lee Davidson, these unique flavors come together to form a burger unlike anything you’ve ever tasted!
It’s got the absolute perfect balance of textures and flavors. The pork and bacon patty is rich, unctuous, and just salty enough; the crispy pork cracklings give some added texture and flavor. The mozzarella, blistered tomatoes, and broccoli rabe pesto aioli give it a slightly Italian vibe that will really make your mouth water!
All of these tasty fixings are served on a foccaccia bun that is sturdy enough to stay intact while you eat, but soft enough to absorb all of the tasty flavors.

What is SecretBurger?
This spectacular event is brought to you courtesy of Hearthstone and SecretBurger.
What is SecretBurger? A service unlike any other. Per their website bio,
“SECRETBURGER makes it easy for you to reserve off the menu specials that are only available one day a year and must be reserved in advance before they sell out.”
All you have to do? Make a reservation for the off-the-menu dish. Then, show up on the day of the event. Your name will be on the guest list, and your order is in place.
Best of all? You can focus on enjoying the specialty dish, but you can augment your meal, too. You’re free to order other items from the regular menu. So that means you’re free to order some great items from the Hearthstone menu to accompany the item, like our Shaved Brussels Sprout “Caesar,” made with an intoxicating mix of creamy caesar dressing and parmesan, or our delectable Charred Shishito Peppers, an appetizer of pure blistering sweet heat served with citrus ponzu, togarashi, and bonito flakes.
And, you know…don’t forget the drinks! Hearthstone has a fully stocked bar, so whether you’d like to enjoy the special with a glass of wine, a draft beer, spirits, or a cocktail, you’re all set.Dessert is a definite necessity, too: you haven’t lived till you’ve tried our unique dessert menu, with items like the Banana in the Tailpipe, an ambrosial concoction composed of ambros banana whiskey, chocolate ice cream, espresso, and sea salt…topped with marshmallow fluff, toasted coconut, and chocolate shavings.
