Have The Perfect Fall Dessert and S’more at Hearthstone Kitchen & Cellar, the Best Restaurant in Summerlin
Summer is officially over–per the Gregorian calendar–and it is time for Autumn’s reign. Fall is a glorious season made up of pumpkin spice and everything nice, like cozy sweaters, throwback Halloween movies, and not having to shave your legs every day. The days shorten and the sun starts going down earlier, and the temperatures start to dip with it, making it the perfect time to cozy up around a fire. Hearthstone’s comfortable and chic ambiance is practically perfect for this time of year, and they’ve also created the perfect dessert to go with this fall feeling. Read on to see just what the best restaurant in Summerlin has to offer during the season of fallen leaves.
Hot Chocolate Ice Cream Push Pop Dessert is available now!
Hearthstone’s Tableside S’mores are the classic campfire version on steroids. No halfsies at Hearthstone–they go all out on their s’more by using a long, thick graham cracker for a base with a marshmallow on top that looks like it could have a second purpose as a Tempurpedic mattress. The ‘mallow is then heated evenly by a handheld dessert blowtorch, toasting it to perfection. Next, a chocolate-coated graham cracker top is expertly placed and smushed down for the perfect package and consistency. While it doesn’t necessarily follow Ham Porter’s s’mores tutorial step by step, the end result is the same: “Then, you scarf.”
You’re going to need something to wash down that s’more, and it should be just as fun and nostalgic. As always, Hearthstone abides and provides the Hot Chocolate Ice Cream Push Pop Dessert! The hot chocolate ice cream comes in a classic push pop tube but with hand-toasted, mini marshmallows on top. It’s the perfect combination of hot and cold for that “it’s fall but still feels a bit like summer” transition.
Take a look at these too-good-to-be-true treats on Hearthstone’s Insta so you’ll know that if you don’t take a swing at these epic desserts, then you’re killing everyone, Smalls.
Perfect Fall Meal
Since you know now without a doubt how your meal will end, here are some equally fall-worthy starters and entrees to get your dining started. For your warm-up–literally and figuratively–start with the Roasted Tomato Soup. Smoothly served with Vermont-aged cheddar grilled cheese and basil oil, it can tide you over until your main course or join forces with a salad to become part of the main event. The Apple & Quinoa Salad with chickpeas, apple slices, gouda cheese, and toasted pumpkin seeds on a bed of arugula and topped with apple vinaigrette screams Autumn louder than a leaf falling from a tree. If you’re feeling that primal urge to stock up and hibernate, the Braised Short Rib entree will fill your belly like a bear on a mission. With butternut squash, truffle ricotta, charred brussel sprouts, and crispy sweet potato, you may not slumber through winter, but you’ll definitely have a good night’s sleep.
Fall has arrived and so has the reason for the season: s’mores. Jump in some leaves then into your car and come to Hearthstone for this festive fall treat!
